The sauna is the most beautiful I have ever seen, the plunge pool feeds from the spring and the native bush is omnipresent, enveloping as you cycle through hot and cold. Four of us had a wonderful yoga and sauna experience at Pumula today. It was raining and cold when we arrived but we were soon welcomed into the woodfire heated, intimate yoga studio. Pumula is in a secluded rural setting with great views, the studio and sauna are beautifully built in timber and tucked sympathetically into the environment. Marilyn and Jemma are warm, welcoming hosts, providing a truly special wellbeing experience.

From Highway 23, turn left onto the Waireinga Falls/Te Mata Road before Raglan. Follow it south, turning right before Te Mata village, and continue for 4kms along the Ruapuke Road and you’ll find us on the left.
